Crossbones 'Captain America Civil War' First Look!

Crossbones 'Captain America Civil War' First Look!
Production on next year’s Captain America: Civil War is underway and today we’re getting our first look at an old favorite. Today’s episode of Clevver News Feed is brought to you by Pitch Perfect 2, now playing! Before we get started, just a quick warning that what we’re about to cover could be considered spoilers, so proceed at your own risk. Okay, next year’s Captain America: Civil War promises to be one of the biggest superhero movies of all-time with an all-star cast lead by of course, Chris Evans as Captain America and Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man. It will also feature several characters from the previous films including Anthony Mackie as “Falcon” who was first introduced in last year’s The Winter Soldier and had a brief role in this summer’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. We got a glimpse of Mackie in his new Falcon uniform at the end of Age of Ultron, but new set photos give us a closer look at his new threads which have been given some red accents as a nod to his comic book origins. The new suit also seems to include some new tech which he seems to be putting to good use in a scene that takes place in an African village. Mackie was spotted on set with co-star Evans in full Cap gear attempting to provide aid to the village’s residents, but it looks like things aren’t going to go well for our heroes as at one point Cap is spotted looking up into the sky with a look of distress on his face. Perhaps it could have something to do with this guy. For those of you wondering who that is under that mask, it’s none other than Frank Grillo who played SHIELD Agent “Brock Rumlow” in The Winter Soldier who turned out to be HYDRA sleeper agent. The last we saw of him, he was badly burned after a hellicarrier smashed into SHIELD headquarters. Grillo has long been rumored to be appearing in Civil War and was confirmed recently when the official cast list was announced. His new suit is a nod to his comic book persona, the evil “Crossbones”, who wears a skull mask with crossbones on his shirt. The new helmet likely will hide the scars he sustained from The Winter Soldier and he also appears to be sporting some sort of mechanical devices on both his arms. We’ll have to wait and see what those end up being used for when Captain America: Civil War arrives in theaters on May 6th, but what do you think of Falcon and Crossbone’s new outfits and what do you think is happening in this scene?
