6 Chicago Men Arrested After Months of 'Smash and Grabs' that Netted them $2,000,000.

6 Chicago Men (James Erwin, 34, and Michael Thomas, 26. The other two at large are Kendrick Adams, 21, and Deonte Johnson, 22.) were arrested after months of breaking into department stores (after hours) and doing 'smash and grabs' but police finally caught up to them this week.

The burglary ring has stolen more than $2 million in merchandise and caused more than $500,000 in damage since early last year, police said. They are suspected in about 40 burglaries in Chicago, Oak Brook, Northbrook, Aurora and elsewhere. Some of the burglaries have been out of state

The crew would “scope out” locations and merchandise they wanted to steal, “formulate a plan,” draw maps of the floor plans and come back later to carry out the burglaries. The “very difficult” investigation came to a head with the brazen overnight burglary at the Neiman Marcus on the Mag Mile in December.  Nine burglars crashed a white Dodge Grand Caravan through the Superior Street entrance of the store, making off with designer purses and other luxury items. The van became wedged in the structure and two suspects were trapped inside and were taken into custody after they tried to flee and hide. The arrests“led to the identification of several crew members. Chicago police a lot of video of people in masks and glvoes but it’s hard to convict and arrest people that are wearing masks and gloves.

Other charges included her sending nude photos of herself to a 16-year-old student, giving Mesa two counts of electronic solicitation of a minor. Mesa now faces up to 22 years in prison.

Handcuffed White Man Runs Away From Cops as Black Man Gets Tasered

As Twitter has been quick to point out, this video is a perfect representation of the American justice system. In it a handcuffed white dude runs away as five cops surround a black suspect being tasered. No one pays attention to him until he's in stride. He's already across the street by the time we see just one of the cops going after him. 

Twitter also blessed us with a version of the video overdubbed with Drake's "Know Yourself." Making it all the more poetic is the location of the incident, 6th street in Austin, Texas. Running through the six with my woes, indeed. 

Police confirmed the video is real and said the fleeing suspect was eventually caught and arrested.

Easily the strangest part of Hannibal Buress' career is the fact that he kicked off the wave of public backlash against Bill Cosby. And that's really saying something given his involvement in The Eric Andre Show. Jimmy Kimmel had to ask about him initiating the criticism, and Buress revealed he's been getting death threats ever since. Coming from him, death threats have never sounded so hilarious. 

"The weirdest thing about getting a death threat from a male body builder/stripper on Facebook is when you click on his profile and see that you have one mutual friend," Buress said. 

He also joked that that's not how killers operate:

Sensitive Rapper Drake was manhandled at the Movida nightclub Saturday night in Dubai by a unknown assailant, which triggered a knock-down-drag-out battle royal. 

The henchman grab the back of Drake's head and shove it down. But club security jumped in and knocked around the anonymous gofer.

 Drake was in the country as a guest of Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (the Crown Prince of Dubai.). It's unclear if members of the family were on hand when Drake was assaulted.

San Francisco Cops Make Arrests In The Middle Of Rap Video Shoot

The arrest took place while gangsta rapper Yung Lott was filming a music video for his single, "Demo." Director and videographer Brian Strom told newshounds everyone complied with the police in fear of "getting shot." He also continued to film during the raid. He believes the police shouldn't have interrupted the video shoot or arrest some of the residents who were extras in the video.

"Young men in a poverty-stricken neighborhood, purposely staying busy to stay out of trouble, gathered together to do something positive, creative, and productive and ended up being violently stereotyped and prejudged," he captioned the video on YouTube.

The plain clothes officers are seen interrogating the 20 men at the video shoot.

After the raid, police arrested Taj Williams on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, and 24-year-old Michael Higginbotham was arrested on suspicion of selling narcotics.

Two police officers have been shot in Ferguson. One was shot in the shoulder and the other was shot in the face, says Missouri Police Chief Jon Belmar.

Unarmed Black Teen Gunned down by Wisconsin Cop Sparks Protests (Vlad TV)

Hundreds of people have hit the streets of Madison, Wisconsin to protest the death of an unarmed African American teen, who was shot by the police.

According to NBC News, the shooting happened Friday evening when an officer responded to a battery call. 19-year-old Anthony "Tony" Robinson was reportedly walking through traffic and hitting pedestrians when the officer arrived. Reports claim Robinson was shot after arguing with the officer, but the family of the teen says he was shot five times after the officer followed him into his home.

Known to his family and close friends as Terrell, the teen graduated six months early from high school and planned to attend Milwaukee Area Technical College for business.

In a familiar pattern carried out by the many people in Ferguson when Michael Brown was shot by former Officer Darren Wilson, many took to Twitter to document the scene of the crime. Locals along with the family of the teen marched to the police station and other government buildings chanting, "Who can you trust? Not the police!"

Friends and family of Robinson described him as a friendly teen who wouldn't harm a fly. "He was a loving and caring young man according to his grandmother," Michael Johnson, the family's spokesperson stated on Facebook.

During a press conference, Madison police chief Mike Koval stated that Robinson was unarmed.

"The initial finding at the scene did not reflect a gun or anything of that nature that would have been used by the subject," he said.

The officer, who has yet to be identified was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injures. He reportedly performed CPR on the teen before he died. Robinson's family says they haven't been able to see the teen since he was shot.

The state's Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation is currently looking into the shooting.
