Lloyd Banks - "Passing Me By" (Produced By J-Swift)
Lloyd Banks revisits The Pharcyde's biggest hit "Passin' Me By" from the L.A. quartet's 1992 debut album Bizare Ride To The Pharcyde (in 2012, Delicious Vinyl re-released Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde as a three-CD box set, containing all the original songs as well as hard-to-find remixes and instrumentals). The song, produced by longtime collaborator  J-Swift (detained in Vancouver, Canada after a show with Fat Lip and Slimkid3 and is now fighting deportation according his Go Fund Me Page), utilizes Quincy Jones' "Summer In The City," "125 Street Congress" by Weather Report, and the backwards drum parts of the 1967 psychedelic rock title song "Are You Experienced" by the Jimi Hendrix Experience.

The Pharcyde - Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde: The Singles Collection
"Passin' Me By" (Fly As Pie mix by L.A. Jay)

In honor of the 20th anniversary of The Pharcyde's debut album, Delicious Vinyl is proud to present Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde The Singles Collection.

Originally released in November 1992, Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde emerged at a time when gangsta rap dominated what people were hearing, seeing and buying, especially on the West Coast. The Pharcyde's refreshing sound - lively, humorous and inventive lyrics overs lush, jazzy productions - changed hip hop's trajectory and influenced a generation of artists. In the last twenty years, Bizarre Ride has solidified its reputation as a five-star classic, beloved by critics and fans alike.

The limited edition box set includes:

Seven 7" records pressed on seven different colors of vinyl, housed in replica mini jackets.

A double CD package with 24 tracks featuring seven instrumentals (one previously unreleaed), five acapellas (four previously unreleased) and six remixes, plus a bonus track taken from a rare vinyl-only promo 12" single.

A large 21"x28" poster and 120-piece jigsaw puzzle, both featuring the album's iconic rollercoaster cover art.

Detailed liner notes written by album producer J-Sw!ft, along with never-before-seen vintage photos of The Pharcyde.
