Sotr Caf - "Crushed" (Lyrics)

Verse 01:
If I could take back what I said I don’t think I would
But if I could change how you feel I wish I could
To whom I said those terrible things to
I’m in a terrible place too
I know the pain I know the panic
I know the zanic control the manic
But I don’t feel like a man if I have to ask you to hold my hand and dammit
You shouldn’t have to have a hand in it
Hope you find your place in this planet
I’m still floating in space hoping to land it
My ships sailed coping with damage
Hoping telescopes spot a landing before oxygen vanish
And if the day come and I’m gone know I tried
I gave it my all til my all expired
This soul’s been broken longer then you’ve been alive
I know you care care to share it sometime

Crushhhhed
My soul feels crushhhhhed
Crushhhhed
My soul feels crushhhhhed

Verse 02:
It feels likes its been forever maybe it has
Or maybe when time pass with no laughs it can’t go fast
Gotta tattoo to make a change
It was a man smiling a little younger
A little less violent
Reminded me of a time when
The sun would shine and I wouldn’t mind it
When I shower for a few minutes a day
I can watch the man remember his way
Forgetting what made him this hateful
If you think I hate you it aint true
I’m just pushing cuz if you get too close
The most you’d be is not what you hoped
What you had in mind or what I hoped you’d fine
You won’t catch me cryin’ cuz these eyes aint hard to hide
I’d say its been a fun but I’d be lyin’
Its easy to be alone then to be left in a line

Sotr Caf - "Where'd Riley Go" (Lyrics)

Verse 01:
A new house on a new street not a few feet it was a ways
By a few streets and a highway the trucked swayed as the trailer made
Its way to a place where I wouldn’t stay shoulda prayed for another day
Another year but we were here she was moving I was moving her
She was smiling I was blue big box small box one or two
Of this and that from a room she wouldn’t use
To this new room with new friends I couldn’t view
I knew some I didn’t know him
He was in the kitchen making food were we rude
He didn’t make a move he was polite
Surveyed the landscape she planned an escape
A date with fate I could she couldn’t wait

Chorus:
I wish I know where Riley went
I wish I'd known where Riley gone
I wish I know where Riley went
I wish I'd known where Riley gone
Where the fuck did Riley go?

Verse 02:
He was a small man I could handle with one hand if I had to
But psycho paths can be cupcakes and candles
Flannels, floppy hair, and wear Jesus sandals
I feared the worst as he cooked I pictured a scandal
I sized him up he wasn’t much
But it didn’t take a big punch to take her down she made a sound
Hey are you dreaming I snapped out of it
It was bed and dresser time I needed to find a helper
Guy cooking only leper so I had to ask him whatever
Hey can you uh this shits heavy can you manuever
These one uh or two items for a minute that’s how I met him
I said hi what’s your name kid he put his plate down became smiley
Turned to me and said kindly “Hi my name is Riley”

Chorus:
I wish I know where Riley went
I wish I'd known where Riley gone
I wish I know where Riley went
I wish I'd known where Riley gone
Where the fuck did Riley go?

Verse 03:
As we moved fumbled thru floors rounding corners dumbly thru doors
Where these chairs wasn’t made to be stored
We bonded on stairs prepared us for war
Up and down flights we talked and discussed
He was from a town not much farther from us
He was a good kid hardly a schmuck
Coulda been larger but a guy I could trust
We finished moving her in I was looking to leave
She was looking at me like I’m looking to breath
Beat I took a hint didn’t need it
Got my things and started to leave it
Riley thanks for the muscle I mean it
Take care of my cargo while I’m not needed
He said todays my last day here I’m leaving
Was I still breathing I must be dreaming

Chorus:
I wish I know where Riley went
I wish I'd known where Riley gone
I wish I know where Riley went
I wish I'd known where Riley gone
Where the fuck did Riley go?

Album Stream: ShowYouSuck (@ShowYouSuck) - "Dude Bro" - @ClosedSessions

29-year-old Chicago native ShowYouSuck (real name Clinton Sandifer) began rapping in the 7th grade recording homemade rap songs onto cassettes over popular hip-hop instrumentals in his bedroom with his friends just wishing he could be in the spotlight and get his songs played on the radio.

Fast-foward to 2010, Clinton Sandifer was working at a tatto parlor but quit to pursue his music career full-time. Since 2010. ShowYouSuck has released 5 mixtapes and 5 EP’s including the groundbreaking One Man Pizza Party mixtape series and his 2014 breakthrough rap rock album Dude Bro (available on iTunes and Spotify)

ShowYouSuck doesn’t fit into the typical rapper stereotype (wearing gold teeth, driving fancy cars, and making videos that feature scantily clad women).

ShowYouSuck draws from comic books, cartoons, 80’s new wave, synth pop, hardcore metal, trap music, 80’s films, 80’s pop culture, etc.
