Asaad (a.k.a Saudi Money) - "Dirty White Leathers"

Asaad (a.k.a Saudi Money) - "Dirty White Leathers"
From the album, "Cold Blue," available for purchase on Bandcamp

"Dirty White Feathers" (Lyrics)

(Verse 1)
My so-called life
I'm defying anything done normally
Defining obscurity and my passion for purity
And this never-ending quest for maturity
Is misunderstood like a bad bitch's insecurity
True this: stressed genius would rather be clueless
Instead I'm X-ing dream girls off of my to-do list
With a Pac moxxy, a working-class hero's hubris
With the world on my shoulders, damn et tu Brutus!
My niggas rock, raw denim with heavy ounces
Music that keep bouncing, Hawaiian Punch out the fountain
And the power of these words could move mountains
What sucks is all of our bad bitches need counseling
Niggas know what it is, these bitches know who we are
I was like, two, singing Prince "Baby I'm a Star"
We'll raise our son off in N-Y/ Our daughter somewhere far
So she don't have to know how fucked up we truly are

(Hook)
Dirty White Leathers, Rodarte Sweaters
Malin and Goetz, Cannibus, Candles and Poinsettias
Good Could be Better... Good could be better
But we talkin bout
Dirty White Leathers, Rodarte Sweaters
Malin and Goetz, Cannibus, Candles and Poinsettias
Good Could be Better... Good could be better

(Verse 2)
At the tender age of one, I go the test of my life
Poppa set the chopper to my left, Quran to my right
Looked down at the gun, and looked him in his eyes
Picked up the Good Book, he picked me up and start to cry
Ooh that's priceless tears of joy, look at your baby boy
My girl's the yin/yang, our child will be the coy
It's dead weight when we be arguing and carrying on
But hey, sometimes I'm right, and sometimes I'm wrong
A lot of time spent justifying my ini-qui-ty
She can't complain I keep the cutie in the Pucci booties
Excessive Louie, impressive like a Brutix
My chimmy chimmy chewy and we going out for sushi
Breaking down silver haze on the mac book pro
Just to go on vacation in an ideal zone
It's cold, I'm cold, That's how I like it - cold
While I create the illest shit and ground break the mold

I'm talking
(Hook)
Dirty White Leathers, Rodarte Sweaters
Malin and Goetz, Cannibus, Candles and Poinsettias
Good Could be Better... Good could be better x2

And I know you feel the soul... soul... soul...

In a short period of time, North Philadelphia wordsmith Asaad a.k.a. Saudi Money, has gardened a large fan following and churned out eight full-lengh albums (2009 debut Flowers, 2012’s New Black History Month, 2012 ‘s White, 2012 ‘s Troy, 2013’s Cold Blue, 2013’s New Black History Month 2, Dirty Middle Class, 2014’s Flowers 2).

In 2014, Asaad released his retail mixtape, Flowers 2, with guest cameos from Ab-Soul ("Alejandro Jodorowsky Flow") and King Louie ("Block Boy 2.0"). The album is available for purchase on his Bandcamp artist page.

In early 2015, Asaad reemerged after a brief hiatus and unfettered several new songs (Fuck 3 Wishes, Celebrate Saudi, Greenhouse, Shooters (Phone Off), Diamonds Checks & Plugs, Blue Note Entendre).
Controversy
In early 2013, the Former Re-up Gang member called out former friend and collaborator Pusha T during a March concert. Inside Philadelphia’s Union Transfer Asaad publicly dissed Pusha T in front of a crowd of hundreds before performing his short set. Without hesitation, he shouted “Fuck Pusha T and anybody that love him! Fuck that n*gga. We in my city.”
Apparently Pusha T has stolen material from Asaad. His annoyance seems to have derived from Pusha T recording a song called “New God Flow” with Kanye West then releasing it as a single briefly after Asaad put out a song titled “God Flow”.
