Hollywood Shuffle (1987 Movie)

1987's Hollywood Shuffle is a farcical semi-autobiographical comedy film about the racial stereotypes of Blacks in film and TV. The film tracks the failed attempts of hot dog stand worker Bobby Taylor (the film's director, producer, and co-writter Robert Townsend) trying to become a big time actor who wins a supporting role in a ridiculous faux blaxploitation film Jivetime Jimmy's Revenge.
