Born and raised in Flushing, Queens of a Jewish mother and Albanian father, Ariyan Arslani wasn't even ten when a copy of the Wu-Tang Clan's 36 Chambers landed in the tape deck at a friend's sleepover party. His life was changed forever, and soon he discovered another idol, Kool G Rap who hails from the Corona neighborhood of Queens, New York City and is  described by Kool Moe Dee as "the progenitor and prototype for Biggie, Jay-Z, Treach, Nore, Fat Joe, Big Pun, and about twenty-five more hard-core emcees"

Ariyan Arslani later studied at the Art Institute of New York City's culinary program and went on to join the restaurant business as a chef, but in 2009 the culinary-school graduate exited the kitchen and to pursue rap music after working as a professional chef for the New York Mets.

In 2011 the bearded rhyme spitter released his debut album, Dr. Lecter (Fine Fabric Delegates). That same year Action Bronson appeared on the Wu-Tang Clan's compilation album Legendary Weapons. In 2012 the Fools Gold label released Blue Chips (It’s titular inspiration comes from a ’90s college basketball corruption saga), a collaborative mixtape with Brooklyn-based production team Party Supplies on March 12, 2012 , while the Alchemist-helmed mixtape Rare Chandeliers was released on November 15, 2012 and produced entirely by the Shady Records in-house producer

His 2013 major label debut project Saaab Stories (his second EP) was produced entirely by Brooklyn super producer Harry Fraud  and released by Vice and Atlantic Records.
