Paramount Pictures have announced that the official release date for Hot Tub Time Machine 2 will be on Christmas Day 2014. The December 25th release date means that Hot Tub fans world wide will be hitting theaters the day after christmas for a little light hearted comedy.
The first Hot Tub Time Machine movie was a surprise hit, achieving cult status in some parts of the world. Whilst main character played by John Cusack will not be returning, the rest of the cast will be back for the second installment, along side newcomer Adam Scott who will be replacing John Cusack.
This time around, Lou (Corddry) finds himself in a whole heap of trouble, and the rest of the gang must fire up the hot tub to get back to the past, but accidentally get sent to the future.
It’s time to alter the future, to save the past which is actually just the present…
