Upcoming 2015 Comedy Vacation is a remake turned sequel, directed and written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Rusty Griswold takes his own family on a road trip to "Walley World" in order to spice things up with his wife and reconnect with his sons. The film stars:

• Ed Helms (best known for his work as Andy Bernard, the Regional Director in Charge of Sales at Dunder Mifflin in the NBC television comedy series The Officeand the annoying Stuart Price in The Hangover trilogy) as a grown-up Rusty Griswold.
• Christina Applegate (She has had major roles in several films, including Veronica Corningstone in 2004's Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and its 2013 sequel, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Grace Searing in the 2011 comedy film Hall Pass) as his his wife, Debbie.
• Australian actor Chris Hemsworth (best known for his role as fictional superhero Thor).
• Elizabeth Gillies (best known for playing the role of Jade West on Victorious).
• Leslie Mann (best known for her roles in comedic films like 2005's The 40-Year-Old Virgin, 2007's Knocked Up, 2009's 17 Again, and 2012's This Is 40).
• Chevy Chase as Clark Griswold and Beverly D'Angelo as Ellen Griswold.
