Drake – “Back To Back” (Meek Mill Diss)

After releasing “Charged Up” four days ago Drake goes after Meek Mill again with a new diss track titled “Back To Back.”
Drake is back with another Meek Mill diss track and this time around Drake doesn’t hold back any punches. He is more focused on trying to humilate Meek Mill with clever one-liners over an agressive track. Charged Up was more like a warning shot. He didn't adrees Meek Mill directly but with "Back To Back" its clear he's taking jabs at Meek Mill and poking fun at his relationship with Nicki Minaj. In fact, he definitely "put his ankles in it."
  • I learned the game from William Wesley you could never check me. Back to back for the niggas that didn’t get the message. Back to back like I’m on the cover of Lethal Weapon. Back to back like Jordan in ‘96, ‘97. Whoa! Very imortant and very pretentious. When I look like back I might be mad I gave this attention.
  • You gonna make me step out my fuckin’ frame. You gonna make me buy bottles for Charlamagne. You gonna make me go out my fuckin’ way.
  • I’m not sure what made y’all mad but I guess this is what I have to do to make y’all rap.
  • Ya’ love her then ya’ gotta give the world to her. Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour? I know that ya’ gotta be a thug for her. This ain’t what she meant when she told you to open more.
  • Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers. You gettin’ bodied by singin’ nigga. I’m not the type-a nigga that’ll type to niggas. And shout out to all my boss bitches wifin’ niggas! Make sure you hit him with the pre-nup. Then tell that man to ease up.
  • I don’t wanna hear about this ever again. Even when she tells him they’re better as friends.
  • I didn’t wanna do it. Gave me every reason. Point I’m tryna make is I don’t need ‘em. Seein’ what you’d do for fame. What would you do for freedom.
Drake also chose a photo of first baseman Joe Carter celebrating in Game 6 of the 1993 World Series (the defending champions Toronto Blue Jays of the American League against the National League champions Philadelphia Phillies) after Carter hit a walk-off home run to win the 1993 World Series for the Toronto Blue Jays.
