Bobby Shmurda Reveals Rowdy Rebel Was Thrown In The Box After Altercation At The Tombs

Alleged ringleader of a Crip gang known as GS9 Bobby Shmurda (Ackquille Jean Pollard) got a rare chance to speak on radio about his case during a live Hot 97 interview.

Bobby revealed him and his GS9 label-mate Rowdy Rebel have been together ever since they were arrested and locked up.

Bobby revealed an altercation at the Manhattan Detention Center that led to Bobby Shmurda's sidekick Rowdy Rebel being thrown in the “box.”

“…They took him to the box, man,” Bobby said. “Me and him had got into a little altercation. You know how that go.”

Rowdy Rebel was among 14 GS9 members indicted on a slew of charges Thursday, Dec. 18. Rowdy later issued a statement in a call from jail.
