Sydni Alexander - "Clarity"(Zedd Cover)

Sydni Alexander is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter from the DMV area. She was born in Columbia, Maryland and raised in North Virgina. She started singing at an early age, initially singing in church choirs and Glee club troupes. Fueled by enthusiastic backers, Sydni began performing at local talent shows, festivals., coffeehouses, and karaoke contests. 

With influences including contemporary singer-songwriters Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, John Mayer, P!nk, and Hayley Nichole Williams of Paramore, Sydni brings a fresh indie pop sound, catchy hooks, and creative wordplay that will undoubtedly cross over and pull in fans of different backgrounds.

On Apr 18, 2014, Syndi released a self-titled 5-song EP showcasing her incredible vocal range and unique songwriting. Sesson guitarist Devin Speak, drummer Brian Wilson, and Chief Engineer Conrad Osipowicz of Blue Room Productions contributed to the overall sound of the extended play.

Plus a dance-pop single that summer entitled “Radio,” produced by Agent Method Productions. 

She has also recorded several memorable covers including: “Ain’t It Fun” and “Misguided Ghosts” (originally recorded by pop band Paramore) along with Burn (a Ellie Goulding Cover), “Primadonna” (a Marina and the Diamonds remake), and her version of “Clarity,” originally recorded by German/Russian electronic dance music producer Zedd.
