A little while back rapper Sav One reached out to recording artist/entertainer L-Love to do a feature on a song with with him, as at the time L-Love was killing chorus' and rap verses.
They met in the recording studio of L-Love and recorded what should of been a Radio/Club single that took the rap industry and the Billboard Magazine Rap Single and R&B Single Charts by storm.
The song was put out by Sav One, but it was not the version that was recorded within L-Love's recording studio. The version released by Sav One featured different Sav One vocals containing a dump truck full of profanity and took all the Radio and Club and Chart appeal from the song. And it had no promotions at all.
Sav One and L-Love basically had a Gucci Mane vs Jeezy situation with their song "You Got It Wrong". Sav One felt that the song was his and L-Love felt that the song wasn't living up to its potential and given the chance it needed to be the successful hit he saw it to be.
A indie label heard the version of the song the way L-Love wanted it to be in the first place and searched out Sav One to give him a Recording Contract (a development contract based on working the "Got It Wrong" L-Love version, as a single).
So indie Emerald Dragon Entertainment is proud to release for Sav One's "Got It Wrong (the L-Love version).
"You Got It Wrong" is available on iTunes for Purchase via Emerald Dragon Entertainment. iTunes Link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/got-it-wrong-feat.-love-single/id833803969
