Bateen (@BateenIdol) - "Burning Bridges" (Official Video)


Bay Area rap veteran Bateen is continuing to carve out a niche for himselfwith his distinctive sound and polished delivery.

Bateen is taking big strides in the music industry and recently released his breakout single “Burning Bridges.” The critically hailed single has gardened attention from new fans, DJ's and mixshows around the states. 

Mini Bio:
Back in 1995, Bateen was discovered by a local producer named James Early and soon began a career in rap. 

In 1996, Bateen joined a local group called The Cirkle and the group put out their first album in the same year. They then performed at 45 different southern colleges during a brief college tour  sharing the stage with artists such as Lil Wayne, 112, Destiny’s Child and DMX

In 1997, Bateen released his debut studio album titled Whatz A Thug and quickly built a local buzz.

Bateen has also spent several years living in West Africa.

He is currently working on his new album Catch The Wave and a joint EP with Kaptain Krook called Pirate Gang.
