Since 2012, gifted producer/rapper Tree who grew up in the Cabrini-Green projects of downtown Chicago cultivated his own sound calling it “Soul Trap” (gritty soul samples/Trap Music - 808 kick drums and heavy extended bass lines) and has released 4 groundbreaking solo projects: Sunday School, Sunday School II: When Church Lets Out, and 2014’s The @MCTREEG EP, this year’s Trap Genius along with two gamechanging albums with fellow Chicago MC Chris Crack (Tree + Crack and Tree Swag)
