Duck Down's Tribute To Sean Price (Video)

The multifaceted Sean Price (whose métier started as one-half of dyad Heltah Skeltah) made a name for himself in the underground hip-hop community by just doing what he did best: destroying the competition with his agressive yet daedal flow and chancy sense of humor.

In 2005, Price released his Duck Down debut Money Bars which featured the singles: "Peep My Words", "Onionhead", "Heartburn", "Boom Bye Yeah", "Monkey Barz" and "Slapboxing." The album cover art was inspired by 1968 film Planet of the Apes.

In 2007, he followed up critically-hailed Money Bars with his sophomore album, Jesus Price Superstar.

In 2011, Sean Price, Guilty Simpson, and sought-after Detroit producer Black Milk formed super group Random Axe and released self-titled debut studio album produced solely by Black Milk on Duck Down Records.

In 2012, Price released his long-belated third and final studio album, Mic Tyson after many pushbacks.

Before passing away yesterday morning in his Brooklyn apartment, Saturday (August 8, 2015), The charismatic Brownsville emcee was preparing to release a 30-song mixtape entitled Songs In the Key of Price via his own imprint label Ruck Down Records on August 21, 2015.
