The Space League (@VigoLux and @ThegodMarShalLi) - "Ridin'"

JESSIE SPENCER'S EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH MARYLAND HIP-HOP GROUP THE SPACE LEAGUE

The Space League are an eclectic hip-hop group from Maryland.

The members of the group are rappers Vigo and Marshal Li. They work with a lot of different producers but they mostly work with Tek.Lun from another rap called Nasa8 which Vigo is also apart of. Check them out nasa8.bandcamp.com

Unfortunately the group doesn't any music videos out yet and all their music is currently on SoundCloud until "they get some more music done" but they do have some ideas for videos. They also have a new mixtape "Don't Test The Gods" that's dropping this month but the mixtape is going to be on Datpiff instead of SoundCloud. The Space League is also planning release singles from the mixtape soon.

I was on the phone with Vigo one half of the group earlier today and I asked him how would he describe his group's style and even though the group reminded me of Clipse because of the very detailed way they describe things in their songs, Vigo felt their music was more like Outkast's.

"Are style is like Outkast mixed with Kanye mixed with Three 6 Mafia and whatever dope shit you can think of. We can go from chill to real deep shit to trap and back to chill in the same song. and the ideas keep coming so things can only get better from here."

I also wanted to know how long they had been rapping and this what he said, "We've been rapping for awhile now but we just started recording recently, the first song we ever made was over "Bonita Applebum" in are friends home studio, we figured we're good at it, so might as well take are chances with it."

I know alot of Hip-hop fans are probably going to think that the Clipse comparison is exaggerated but here's a taste of The Space League's brand of trap music.
